Since forming in 2009 we have thrived as a lift service company that offers a professional and personal service for all types of lifts in the United Kingdom. With a wealth of knowledge, covering every aspect of the lift industry, we continue to build on our growing reputation to provide our customers with the highest quality and attentive service they deserve. Our biggest value we offer as a young, dynamic company is our ability to respond quickly to changes in our customers requirements and deliver a bespoke, tailored service without being hampered by decisions made by, or for external stakeholders.

We are a dedicated team of lift specialists and we pride ourselves on our team-centric culture where we prioritise each other in the same way we do our clients.
We understand the importance of every role from the administrators who take the enquiry, to the NVQ level 4 engineers who go out on the job. Together we are all driven by our common values; to Communicate, to be Detailed and to be Accurate. We support our team with role specific training, as well as the opportunity to upskill and cross train in other areas. This gives our team the confidence to do their jobs to the best of the ability. So no matter the need our team can support you with your enquiry.
Our History
Target Lifts Ltd was formed in 2009 by Danny Garaway and Tony Howell-Smith who together have a combined experience of more than 50 years in the lift industry. The company’s original focus was sub-contract work, completing modernisations and installations for major lift companies operating across London and the South East.
It was soon evident to Danny and Tony that there was a demand for a lift company that could not only deliver high quality project work but also provide excellent aftercare through planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and clear/honest communication - whether direct or via the customer’s representative. Target Lifts Ltd was formed to meet this demand, developing its own portfolio of customers and consultants to deliver new lift installations, modernisations and PPM.
By providing a reliable, honest and trustworthy service, our reputation has continued to grow. The company’s diverse portfolio now includes assets at prestigious London locations e.g. The Hippodrome Casino, British Medical Association and flagship retail locations for the Burberry Group, numerous assets at Embassies and Government buildings (requiring NSVS clearance), high value private residences, office and residential blocks, etc.
Our management team has over 190 years of experience in the lift industry which helps drive the company’s internal management and safety systems as well as our culture of continual improvement.
The company is an active member of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) attending their regular council meetings, safety & technical seminars.
In 2020, we relocated from Dartford to larger premises in Crayford.
